A little about me

headshotB.png

        Hi!

My name is Timi and I'm the owner of Integrative Bodyworx. Thanks for visiting my site and your interest in learning about my work.

I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in English, but my passion for sports, health and wellness led me to massage school.

Licensed and state certified with the California Massage Therapy Council, I am trained in both eastern and western modalities and a member of American Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).  I have always loved doing sports, so I have a unique understanding of the body and sports related injuries.  Through my experience addressing soft tissue injuries caused from trauma and repetitive stress, I've focused my bodywork toward structural integration with an emphasis on posture. I specialize in Myoskeletal Aligment Therapy, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Neurostructural Bodywork as well as Active Engagement Muscle Therapy and Fascial Stretch Therapy.

Being results driven, I enjoy working with clients to relieve specific issues as well as working with clients who want the benefits of regular bodywork.   With my intuitive touch and therapeutic technique, my primary goal is assisting my client’s body awareness for optimal integration of health and wellbeing.

In school, I studied Neurostructural Bodywork and Oriental Studies and graduated from Mueller College in San Diego and Kali Institute in Ventura, CA in 2007.  In 2011 she was certified in Myoskeletal Alignment Technique studying under Erik Dalton and in 2014 was Level 2 Certified in Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST). I combine the modalities I've learned through the years to produce the best results.  Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Tui Na, Reflexology, Swedish, Prenatal and Postnatal Massage.
